What is gp4kids?

GP4Kids is the brainchild of Dr Nicole White.  GP4kids brings together Dr Nicole’s specialised training and her strong interest in children’s  health and wellbeing, to form a service that is focused on continuity of care for children from infancy through to adolescence.  

 

What types of services are offered by GP4kids?

  • Everyday medical care

  • Infant growth and development

  • Newborn care and feeding

  • Infant and childhood immunisation

  • Early childhood behaviour and learning

  • Asthma, eczema and allergies

  • Adolescent health

  • Complex care co-ordination

  • Antenatal and postnatal care

  • Parental mental health and wellbeing

Who is gp4kids for? 

Gp4kids is intended to accommodate the primary healthcare needs of expecting mothers, newborns, children and adolescents up to the age of 18.

You can schedule an appointment with Dr Nicole by either phoning Kedron Wavell Medical Centre on (07) 3359 2160 or online using our online appointment system at www.kedronwavellmedicalcentre.com.au

Is this service Bulked Billed?

Bulked billing will be limited. Appointments that will receive Bulk billing are:

  • Immunisations

  • GP management plans

  • Mental health care plans

What are the consultation fees?

 

I am an existing adult patient of Dr Nicole’s,  what now? 

GP4kids will commence from February 6th 2017.  As a consequence it will be necessary for you with the assistance of Dr Nicole, to transition your primary healthcare needs to an alternate General Practitioner at Kedron Wavell Medical Centre.

Change and forming new relationships with an alternate General Practitioner can be challenging. Kedron Wavell Medical Centre and Dr Nicole understand this.  To ease any concerns or worries you may have with this process, Dr Nicole will accepting transitioning appointments up to April 2017, while you find your new preferred General Practitioner.
